Marcelle Llewelyn funds Christmas Hampers for Families Supported by Hafan Cymru across 3 Welsh counties Marcelle Llewelyn, Director of Swansea-based telephone answering service, Call Catchers Ltd, has generously funded for 91 food hampers for families this Christmas. Barclays Cwmbran Branch visits Hafan Cymru Organised Party for their Service Users 3 employees from Barclays bank visited Hafan Cymrus Christmas party, which they helped fund, on Friday. The party was attended by families supported by the Domestic Abuse organisation which took place in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre in Pontypool. If I had known about the refuge when I left my ex husband I would not have gone into another abusive relationship, and experienced it a second time. Success of the ILM Project
Hafan Cymrus Moving On project has recently successfully managed an Intermediate Labour Market project funded by European Social Fund Competitiveness and Employment funding, managed by the WCVA. The ILM project provided 4 x 13 week (35hours a week) paid work placements over the period of 12 months. The paid placements based in the Vale of Glamorgan encompassed support related administrative work duties. Local MP attends Hafan Cymru award ceremony in Pontypridd
Local MP Owen Smith presented certificates at the YMCA in Pontypridd earlier this month as recognition of the achievements made by those attending Hafan Cymrus Moving On project in Rhondda Cynon Taf. 'Moving On' project launches in Ebbw Vale
Hafan Cymru recently held an event in Ebbw Vale Institute to launch their new Moving On project. The project, which is funded by The Engagement Gateway project through WCVA and ESF, has been running since July 2011. The event was designed to promote the project and mark the achievements of those local people who have enrolled and participated so far.
