The Moving On Project

Hafan Cymru’s ‘Moving On’ learning and work Project provides learning and support to service users and individuals living in the community to recognise their skills and abilities enabling them to live independently and get them close towards fulfilling their potential. The project reduces barriers to employment, builds up confidence, self- esteem, skills and aspirations and assists individuals to access formal training, volunteering and/or employment. ‘Moving On’ offers accredited learning through Agored Cymru and OCR providing opportunities for individuals to gain personal development, employability and Essential Skills Wales qualifications.

The Moving On Project has been supported by the European Social Fund through Welsh Government managed by WCVA. The Moving On Project will provide a combination of personal development and employability accredited learning and work related activity to: support unemployed or economically inactive individuals with low skills overcome their personal obstacles, lack of skills and confidence enabling them to move closer to work and to becoming economically active.

This will operate across Carmarthenshire from December 2016 to March 2018, contact [email protected] for further information.”
