Hafan Cymru are delighted to announce that we have achieved the prestigious Safelives Leading Lights accreditation for our High Risk Domestic Abuse (IDVA) services.

Sian Morgan, Hafan Cymru’s CEO commented “the Safelives Leading Lights accreditation is the gold standard in this field. Achievement of this accreditation is testament to the professionalism and hard work of the entire High Risk Domestic Abuse (IDVA) team and everyone who has supported them during the process”.

High risk domestic abuse services provide independent domestic abuse advisors (IDVAs) to work on a one to one basis with clients who are at high risk of harm from a diverse range of domestic abuse issues. The role of these services is to ensure the safety of their clients (and their children) and to help them navigate and understand the criminal justice process from the victim’s perspective. IDVAs provide a tailored, holistic service that advocates for their clients (and their children) and also helps them secure a wide range of related support services.
