Jayne – Training Services Manager
Jayne is a qualified training & employability manager with over 20 years-experience of delivering training solutionsfor the private, public and third sectors.
Based in Mid-Wales – Jayne can be found in any corner of the country ensuring her team are OK whilst also developing our commercial business.
Specialising in adult learning and development, Jayne has experience of contract management, partnership development and designing/delivering adult learning.
Ann-Marie – Senior Training Officer
Ann-Marie is an experienced trainer who has been working in the sector of Violence Against Women Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) for 14 years, and has been a safeguarding lead and designated person for child protection during that time.
The wealth of information and experience Ann-Marie brings to the Training Services is invaluable. She can develop training for any calibre of groups and organisations. She has considerable experience of developing and delivering bespoke training packages for a variety of customers.
She makes training personal…..and that is what makes her sessions enjoyable.
Hannah W – Training Officer
Hannah joined Hafan Cymru in June 2019 as a training officer delivering courses on Domestic abuse, The Impact of Domestic Abuse on Children, Safeguarding, Financial Abuse and Professional Boundaries. Previously Hannah spent seven years teaching History in secondary schools in South Wales, then moved into working for the council teaching and supporting vulnerable children who were unable to attend school due to physical or mental illnesses, or because of behavioural issues.
Now a licenced Mental Health First Aid (Wales) trainer, Hannah also delivers courses on Mental Health First Aid, and Mental Health awareness courses. Additionally, Hannah’s role with Hafan Cymru involves supporting clients with Mental Health needs, building their resilience and helping them to move forward and overcome barriers in their lives.
Hannah C – Employability Support Worker
Hannah began working within Hafan Cymru in January 2020 as an Employment Support Worker. She really enjoys supporting clients and enabling service users to reach their full potential on their employment journey. During previous roles Hannah has gained lots of experience in recruitment and this experience really enhances her ability to support service users on the journey into employment.
Hannah also delivers training remotely and has thoroughly enjoyed developing courses and delivering the training.
Kendra – Wellbeing and Resilience Trainer
Debbie – Employment Link Co-ordinator
Debbie works with Training Services on the Active Inclusion Programme. Her role is to support people back into employment, to enhance their skills and well-being.
Debbie has worked within the voluntary sector for many years in the field of substance misuse and sexual abuse, supporting individuals and their families.
Kim – Commercial Officer
Kim has worked in the sector for 14 years and brings a wealth of experience in project co-ordination. With experience in working on offender projects, benefits teams and sexual violence support schemes she has developed organisational skills and working practices to keep projects running smoothly.
As the ‘behind the scenes’ person for Training Services, Kim is the first point of contact for all enquiries, she handles all the marketing, social media, service promotion and co-ordinates training sessions.
