Sian Morgan

Chief Executive

Sian Morgan is Hafan Cymru’s Chief Executive, being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the business’s long and short-term plans on behalf of the Board of Management, whilst also acting as a direct liaison between the Board and Management of the Association.

Sian has worked successfully for a variety of Government bodies and private sector organisations during the last 40 years. Her specialism is within organisation development/growth and relationship building, having worked for many years in this field with a range of businesses and stakeholders.

In her spare time Sian was previously a trustee of a community charity, which offers childcare, training and family support services, and, was proudly one of the first centres to achieve the Children and Young People’s Participation Standards. Sian was an active and supportive member of the Board during times when austerity measures were starting to impact and was able to support the Centre Manager through some key business challenges and although no longer a Trustee keeps in contact with the centre and offers support as needed.

Sian is a committed lifelong learner from a human resources background, who has also designed and participated in a wide range of management development programmes and achieved a variety of work-based qualifications, culminating in membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in 1992.

Tricia Jones

Head Of Operations 

Trish is very proud to have been working for Hafan Cymru since 1999 in a variety of roles and through many changes including Support Work, Project Management and now  Head Of Operations all Wales.

As Head Of Operations she works with the Executive Team, Senior Management Team and all Operational Teams to provide leadership and strategic direction across the Business. She is also the Chair of the North Wales Regional Providers Forum supported by Cymorth Cymru ensuring the voice of all providers is heard.

Her skills and experience include Domestic Abuse, Risk Management, Safeguarding, Leadership, and Management and Contract Management. Trish is committed to ensuring we provide the highest quality support to all our clients in all our services.

Trish is passionate that the Supporting People Grant continues to provide the funding our clients need and that our supported accommodation provides the much-needed housing element to give the skills and tools to enable people to live well.

In her spare time she’s a besotted Nana to gorgeous Tommy Lloyd and is fortunate that he lives nearby to visit often, keeping her busy, fit and smiling.

Julie Phillips

Head of Finance

Julie Phillips A.C.A , BA Hons has been with the organisation since 2012. She has worked in the affordable housing and support sector for 12 years, prior to that she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Business Assurance and Audit . She has a wealth of knowledge in social housing finance management.

Sharon Hughes

Head of Business Development & Projects

Sharon Hughes joined the Senior Management Team (SMT) in May 2016 as Head of Strategic Partnerships & Strategy. Sharon’s previous experience involved working strategically with key organisations in the public sector.

She brings a wealth of knowledge from housing, employment, training and disability. Her role in Hafan Cymru is to develop new and current partnerships with strategic stakeholders.

Sharon will lead on developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Sector Policy and Legislation. Establishing high-level strategic relationships with key stakeholders, commissioners, strategic and local partners. Providing expert advice and guidance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Senior Management Team (SMT), Chairperson & Board on key strategic issues.

Necia Lewis

Deputy Head of Operations South Wales

Necia joined Hafan Cymru in 2005 working in the beautiful County of Pembrokeshire. Initially her role was a project co-ordinator working directly with clients accessing support, she then became a senior practitioner and later the County Manager in Pembrokeshire.

Her current role as Deputy Head of Operations for South Wales calls on her experience of housing and homelessness as well as her knowledge of issues affecting individuals who have and are experiencing Domestic Abuse.

Necia is a qualified Safe Lives Service Manager, with over 20 years’ experience of the issues affecting individuals and families in society and feels passionately about maximising positive opportunities for people.

She’s also a novice runner and loves to walk with her dogs in her spare time.

Sharon Smith

Deputy Head of Operations North Wales

Sharon has worked for Hafan Cymru since 2005 , she started her career path as a support worker and then progressed to a team leader, then to County Manager.

At present she is the Deputy Head of Operations for North Wales. Her knowledge in Domestic abuse has been gained from 20 years’ of experience working within the Domestic Abuse sector. The skills she have gained include Safelives Service Managers Training, Leadership and Management, Trouble shooting and Housing Management .

Some years ago she took a career break, to work in the Banking industry, where she gained valuable knowledge and understanding in this fast ever changing world of finances, before returning to her passion, working with victims of Domestic abuse and safeguarding, not forgetting the importance of finance and numbers.

When she is not working, she’s fortunate to live in an amazing part of Wales, as one woman and her dog, they enjoy the delights of what the hills and coastal areas have to offer.
