Domestic Abuse Coercive Control
Who is this for?
Domestic Abuse Awareness training is aimed at practitioners from the voluntary, statutory and private sectors working in a public facing role.
What’s involved?
This course is aimed at providing knowledge of coercive control with an overview of the offence as part of the Serious Crime Act December 2015. Learners will understand what coercive control is and its function within an abusive relationship, the effects and impacts on those who experience it, what types of abuse are involved and how they can best support victims and/or refer to specialist services.

All training is delivered by fully qualified training professionals with experience of Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) and Safeguarding.
