Safe & Sound CSE Training Now Available Across North Wales
Posted in the News Category
In 2018, Hafan Cymru were funded by the Dyfed Powys PCC Community Fund to deliver our Safe & Sound project across the Police region. We ran a number of training courses which raised awareness of child sexual exploitation issues including online grooming and sexting and also discussed the signs and symptoms of child sexual exploitation. This was available to parents, guardians, carers, youth group leaders and community members who wanted more on protecting children and young people from sexual exploitation. It also offered information and guidance on local support and advice on these issues.
The Safe & Sound program was extremely successful and is now being delivered across North Wales on behalf of North Wales Police and regional VAWDASV funding from the Welsh Government.
